What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

Ive always been interested in sneakers! I found it easier to both wear and acquire them, opposed to  "cool" clothes. I think that is what gravitated me towards them. Two pairs that got me into the scene were the "Toro Bravo" Jordan 4s and the Lebron 4s! I would wear my Lebrons to play basketball, even though they weighed about a pound each!

I slowly started to watch sneaker Youtube and get more into the numerous aspects of the game. After a while, I became confident in my ability to understand releases and the market side of things. This is where my passion became something I could grow and help others get into the (somewhat daunting) sneaker scene.

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

One thing that I love about sneaker culture is that is it always changing with innovative styles and trends. I mostly focused on Jordans and Nike, but when the Ultra Boost emerged - my mind was blown by the attention they were able to accumulate. Now, I wear my Yeezy 350s just about everyday and they have become a staple in sneaker culture. In terms of recent times, I am happy New Balance is finally growing in popularity and the amount of collaborations they are creating.

Diversity in the sneaker community is important for various reasons and it would not grow without it!

Please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

A feeling like no other. There are increments of happiness when you are a sneaker head. The anticipation of a release date or restock, waiting in the que vs a 'first come first serve' where your heart is beating and you are are easily aggravated. But, once you see that "Got'em" or bank notification pop up, a sigh of relief soon follows.

Next is the price check to see the financial aspect of what you just did. Is it financially smart for you to wear these? How much trade value do they have?  I know a lot of people do not like this side of sneakers but you can't ignore it, its apart of the game. Next is the waiting for shipping and tracking number to arrive, so you can try to plan to be home when the delivery person shows up.

Taking them out of the box and taking the biggest sniff humanly possible of the inside of the shoe is my favorite part. Something only people who do this would understand!

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

I love Undercover and Siberia Hills for prints on hoodies and shirts! Undercover has the best prints in my opinion that are dark and enticing. I have recently grown to love the JJJJound x New Balance collaborations which use dark/deep colors that we don't see anywhere else.

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

There are so many great collaborations that need to be made! I really enjoy when artists and Nike are able to collaborate on a premium dunk such as the "Strangelove" or 'Sean Clivers". One collaboration that I would like to see is New Balance and Undercover. Maybe with the 2002R or 550 model. I think they could create some crazy colors and prints. The Nike Dunk high that they have did not do it for a lot of people, so maybe another shot at it!

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

My rotation is always changing based on what I am able to hit for retail! Right now my rotation consists of: Yeezy 350 "Sesame" , Nike Dunk low "Spartan Green" , Sacai LD Waffle "Multi Blue" , and last but not least 2013 OG Jordan One "Shadow".

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

Strangelove Sbs. I will have those one day!

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

I have a couple pieces from Undercover and Siberia Hills that I treasure in my collection!
