If you're itching for a major Jumpman re-release, then we bring good news. After 17 years in ice, the highly-coveted Air Jordan 5 "Burgundy" is officially making a comeback. First released back in 2006, this understated colorway has aged like a fine wine. For everything that you need to know, make sure you keep it locked here.
Outfitted in a "Deep Burgundy" suede construction, this Air Jordan 5 is equipped with "Flint Grey" mesh paneling across the lateral and medial sidewalls. The oversized tongue is finished in 3M so you can flex even in low-light conditions, and the toggle switch lacing system returns, offering up an extra rugged aesthetic that's been turning heads since the '90s.
Underfoot, the Nike Air midsole is dipped in a complementary rich maroon hue, and it's decked out in flame detailing that is inspired by fighter jets. It's then rounded off with an icy blue rubber outsole, finalizing the classic design.
Set to return on September 9th, if you didn't manage to secure the Air Jordan 5 "Burgundy" back in the day, now's your chance. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your collection later this year, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the Air Jordan 4 SE Craft "Medium Olive"!
