It looks like Nike will be going all-out for Chinese New Year. After checking out the Dunk Low "Year of the Rabbit" last month, the American sportswear company has another up its sleeve. Bearing a striking resemblance to the Air Force 1 "Year of the Rabbit" from 2011, it even takes some design cues from that lauded release as well, so make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Unlike the first Dunk, this pair boasts an infinitely more neutral color palette. Painted in white and gray, the upper is decked out in smooth leather and supple suede. Fluffy Swooshes shoot across the lateral and medial side panels to mimic the mammal's cuddly fur, and these are painted in mismatched "Crimson" and "Varsity Royal" tones just like the aforementioned AF1. Elsewhere, a little bunny is finely debossed across the heel, and the Chinese character for "Rabbit" adorns the tongue in a traditional calligraphy-inspired style.
Not much else is known about this Nike Dunk Low "Year of the Rabbit" at this moment in time, but with the Lunar New Year set for January 22nd next year, we wouldn't be too surprised if these dropped around then. If you want a pair in your collection, keep it locked at Ox Street's Nike page for your best chance to cop!
