Hidefumi Hommyo is certainly no stranger when it comes to collaborations with adidas, but the upcoming atmos x adidas Adimatic Mid "Collegiate Green" sure is a special one. A retro basketball shoe that has been lying dormant since the early 2000s, the Tokyo-based retailer is officially bringing it back in an OG colorway - and here's everything that we know so far.
Arriving in a bold green suede construction, chunky white Three Stripe branding shoots across the lateral and medial sidewalls of the Adimatic, while the German sportswear company's old school logo is finely embroidered along the collar and heel for a seriously vintage vibe. Underfoot, the sharktooth-inspired midsole makes a comeback, and this time around it's lined with a healthy dose of gum rubber for extra traction and grip on the hardcourt.
Of course, this isn't the first time that atmos has worked on this silhouette. At the end of last year, they dropped their own take on the low-top version with the "Glow Purple."
