After teaming up with adidas, ASICS, and New Balance earlier this season, the atmos now has its sights set on Salomon. Currently one of the most hyped sneaker brands out there thanks to the ever-popular gorpcore aesthetic that's completely dominating the scene, the Hidefumi Hommyo-helmed label has taken to social media to tease the upcoming atmos x Salomon XT-6 - and here's everything that we know so far.
Set against a stark white backdrop, the XT-6 itself is crafted from a combination of mesh, nylon, and synthetic textiles and is painted in a black and gray color palette. Striped detailing decorates the lateral and medial sidewalls, while the rest of the shoe has been totally covered in stars. All of this sits on top of an EnergyCell midsole that has been infused with the French sportswear company's signature Agile Chassis System for improved response and stability. It's then finished with the critically-acclaimed Contagrip outsole so you can effortlessly take on everything from city streets to mountain peaks.
Make sure you keep it locked at Ox Street for more info on the atmos x Salomon XT-6 "Black" as it develops. Let us know if you'll be adding this collab to your collection this season, and while you're here, make sure you check out our complete guide to the techwear aesthetic.
