What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

My fascination with sneakers began when I spotted the Airmax 90 OG Infrared.

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

I think the moment that really resonated with me in sneaker culture was the 90s era because this was when different sneakers evolved from performance shoes to lifestyle sneakers.

Please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

It's a different feeling when you have new shoes; maybe to others, it's superficial, but for us collectors and sneakerheads, it reduces stress. And this is our happy pill.

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

I like the independent retail store collabs like Offspring, Solebox, Extra Butter, Burn Rubber, etc., because they have a better chance of being introduced to the mainstream market. And their designs are really beautiful and high quality.

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

Maybe Kanye West and Jordan brand collab. I know Kanye did a collab before with Nike, but Jordan Brand and Nike are also different.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

A few brands in my shoe rotation are Vans, Dunks, Jordans, Slides, and Clogs.

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

Jordan 1 High OG Chicago and Vans Era Fear of God are my grails.

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

I always have my kitchen utensils on me because I use them daily for my catering business.
