After teasing a collaboration with fast food giant McDonald's just last week, Edison Chen has now taken to Instagram to offer a sneak peek of his next CLOT x Nike Cortez. Set to be the latest colorway in his coveted "CLOTEZ" series after February's "Bruce Lee," this particular pair is inspired by 1994's Forrest Gump.
Featuring the same color palette as the OG Cortez, which was most recently borrowed by Chitose Abe for her sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0, CLOT's rendition boasts a predominantly white upper and is accented with "University Red" and "Game Royal" tones throughout. It also boasts the iconic 3-in-1 design as well, so you can wear these as an indoor house slip-on, a Kung-Fu shoe, and a conventional Nike sneaker as well. This is all adjusted using a yin-yang-branded toggle switch around the heel which you can easily operate while on-the-go.
Expected to drop within the next few weeks, make sure you keep your eyes peeled on Ox Street if you want the CLOT x Nike Cortez "Forrest Gump" in your rotation this season. In related news, the CLOT x fragment design x Nike Dunk Low is coming soon!
