We're officially at the end of October and the sneaker game is finishing it all off with a bang.

We're officially at the end of October and the sneaker game is finishing it all off with a bang. A good week for collabs from across the globe, Rei Kawakubo's COMME des GARÇONS and Teddy Santis' New Balance are here to bring the heat. If you see any other pairs that you think should have been on this list, make sure to let us know over on Instagram and don't forget to follow us as well for the best content that the Asian sneaker community has to offer! Also, thought the past four weeks were full of hype? Wait until you hear what's in-store for the next four.

When it comes to New Balance collaborations, Rei Kawakubo is certainly no stranger to them, creating some of the best collections that the sneaker world has ever seen. For October, the Japanese streetwear icon has unleashed the COMME des GARÇONS x New Balance 550 "Black," and we think that it's a collection essential. While retail is certainly a little higher than usual, you're paying for the high-quality materials, clean design, and of course, the massive CdGH x New Balance co-branding that's printed around the heel in a contrast white font.

Air Jordan 2 Retro "Chicago"

After almost 40 years, the Air Jordan 2 Retro "Chicago" is back and better than ever. Introduced all the way back in 1986, this was one of the first colorways to hit Michael Jordan's second signature shoe. Returning in its original color scheme, the crisp white leather is accented with fiery red hues throughout, while the OG winged basketball emblem features on the tongue. While these aren't handcrafted in Italy like the original pair were, thanks to modern manufacturing processes the materials have retained a premium look and feel that will last for another 40 years, no doubt.

Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Halloween"

In case you didn't already know, today is Halloween, and how could we write a list with the hottest sneakers of the week without including the Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Halloween"? One of our favorite spooky sneakers of the entire year, the Oregon sportswear giant has gone all out for these. Arriving in a dark "Midnight" color scheme, the Swooshes on the side panels are accompanied by shadows that will have you looking around your shoulder at every opportunity. The "Nike" branding around the back has also been given a ghoulish makeover, while a slime green outsole makes these one of the creepiest kicks that you can cop today.

Teddy Santis has been completely dominating the sneaker game this year and it doesn't look like he's about to stop anytime soon. After being crowned the Creative Director of New Balance's Made in USA division, the Aime Leon Dore founder has been releasing future classics such as the New Balance Made in USA 990v2 "Grey." Outfitted in premium brown, tan, and gray suede throughout, you'd be hard pressed to find a sneaker quite as luxurious as this, so secure your size right now before it's too late.

BEAMS x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Gore-Tex "Mosquito Net"

And last but not least, we have one of the most unique collaborations of 2022 with the BEAMS x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Gore-Tex "Mosquito Net." We're all too familiar with mosquito nets, and BEAMS and ASICS have taken this as inspiration for their latest and greatest release. While the GEL-Kayano itself features a pretty conventional look and feel, pop rivets and zip fastenings around the mudguard allow you to securely fasten the net to protect you from any bugs and haters. The shoe itself is also infused with Gore-Tex technology for optimum water and wind resistance. Never mind this month, this is no doubt one of our favorite collabs of the year.
