What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

My interest in sneakers began when I was young, around 14 years old. However, it really peaked when I turned 18 and got a job, which allowed me to actually afford to buy sneakers. The first paycheck I received went towards a pair of all-red Air Max Theas 😂. At the time, they were very popular!

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

The story of the Air Max Plus TNs is crazy to me, and I love it. They put zero marketing into the release; they just popped them on the shelves and watched them fly! That's when you know the design is timeless.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

Yeezy 350 V2 ‘Blue Tint’, Yeezy 700 ‘Wave Runners’, Wmns Air Jordan 1 ‘Lucky Green’, Air Max 1 Atmos Animal Pack 2.0.

Please describe how it feels when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

I think with every new cop, the most exciting thing is putting together an outfit where they just look crazy on foot!

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

I would have loved to see what Virgil Abloh would have done with a TN. But in this lifetime, I think a Bape x Sacai collaboration would be out of this world.

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

KITH is a standout because the whole aesthetic of the business is incredible. Beyond the apparel (which I also love), even each store is an individual work of art. Their choices of color palettes are a dream.

Also, I am a big fan of Bogey Boys. I really dig the new style interpretation on golf gear; it's gorgeous. Shoutout to Macklemore!

What is the ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

SB Strange Love Dunks or Jordan 1 'Turbo Green.'

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

I wholeheartedly love a reversible puffer jacket; it is the best, most versatile cool-weather accessory.

You won't catch me not wearing some form of gold jewelry; it just elevates everything. Small effort, a big impact. 🫶🏽
