Celebrating 25 years since One Piece made its Shonen Jump debut.

After checking out the COMME des GARÇONS x Vans Monogram Slip-On earlier this week, we're now taking our very first look at the One Piece x Vans Authentic. Regarded by many manga and anime fans as the best series of all time, the Eiichiro Oda-written and illustrated franchise is about to get its very own Vans collaboration - and here's everything that we know so far.

This year marks 25 years since One Piece made its Shonen Jump debut, so this sneaker is dropping at a very appropriate time. Featuring a yellow woven upper that's been designed to look like Monkey D. Luffy's signature headpiece, you'll also find the entire Straw Hat crew across the upper, represented with their respective skull and crossbone symbols.

Rope laces tie everything together, and a single red stripe runs around the outside of the vulcanized rubber midsole as a nod to Luffy's iconic red top. All of this comes packaged within a special edition shoe box that comes complete with co-branded detailing throughout.

The One Piece x Vans Authentic is set to release on November 11th. While this may seem like a pretty random date, it's actually Roronoa Zoro's birthday. Make sure you keep it locked for more updates as they develop, if you take a L don't worry, as it'll be available at Ox Street's dedicated Vans page very soon.
