What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

There's no particular moment, but I was randomly scrolling on Instagram when I saw the Air Jordan 1 low "UNC." I immediately told myself I wanted that pair because I love the colorway so much. By then, I'm already thinking about what outfits to pair it. I imagine myself wearing it and how it will give a pop of color to my dress. The moment I got my first pair of Jordans was also the moment I decided that I wanted different colorways that would match my OOTDs.

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

That was during the Nike Dunk Lows started to trend; I immediately bought the Nike Dunk Low "Panda." You can wear anything with it. And it also matches my personality because I'm the type who most of the time wears just black and white outfits.

Moreover, it is very comfy to wear so I would wear these shoes over and over again.

Please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

I feel happy and proud of myself that it makes me think I worked hard to get it. At the same time, it feels like having a new baby to take care of, LOL.

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

Stussy -  I love this brand. It gives a very different street-style vibe that I find really cool.

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

Nike x Philippines - I would love to see original designs that will show and tell the tradition and trademark of my home country through shoes.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

My current rotations include Nike Dunk Lows and New Balance 530.

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

I would love to own a pair of Nike x Off-White!

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

Definitely, bags! I believe that bags must match your whole look and also film cameras.
