Bears a striking resemblance to JJJJound's 990v3 from 2018 and 992 from 2020.

After checking out the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 "Brown White" just yesterday, we're now taking our very first look at the JJJJound x New Balance 991 "Brown." Justin Saunders' first take on the 991 silhouette, it bears a striking resemblance to his 990v3 from 2018 and 992 from 2020. With that said, it comes with some pretty cool details that you definitely need to check out.

First leaked last month when it was spotted on a random eBay listing, the "Brown" is as premium as it gets. Working on top of a gray mesh base, light brown pigskin suede wraps around the upper, while darker tones also feature across the ankle and toebox. A black leather "N" arrives on the laterals and medials, while creamy laces offer up a very vintage vibe. This retro hue extends towards the ABZORB midsole underfoot, and to round off the collaboration, "JJJJound" is stitched around the back in its signature serif font.

Not much else is known about the JJJJound x New Balance 991 "Brown" at this moment in time, but our sources tell us that they'll release sometime in early 2023. Let us know what you think, and be sure to check out Ox Street's New Balance page for all of the latest drops and colorways.
