What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

My answer might not be very original but I was really admired over Michael Jordan, and the first one I got was the Air Jordan Chicago Red! I was very excited about having one of them, and I was even more obsessed when the documentary was out.

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

Crystals on sneakers, that is my absolute favourite thing. It started with the Dunks Cactus flea market that have Swarovski crystals all over them, and now I’m obsessed with the Lanvin curbs with the blue crystals.

Please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

It feels super good and exciting to build new looks in my head with the new kicks. I don’t buy many sneakers, but I invest in one that I really love.

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

To be honest with you, the past few years I really studied Virgil. I'm glad I had the chance to exchange with him! He’ll stay my favorite artist/creator/designer for his vision, mindset, soul and all the moves he made for the culture! I admire the techniques he used in his Louis Vuitton collections and the way he mastered mixing the luxury codes with the urban culture.

Nevertheless, I have few artists that I love, like Mukzin; a Chinese designer that creates very creative pieces. I also love Pony Stone, I discovered the team during my trip in Bangkok. They are really good with denims!

I can’t name them all but we have very innovative designers in the industry nowadays!

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

Lanvin and Sacai.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

At the moment, I would say that I wear a lot of the Lanvin Curb - I just love the shape and the design! The Classic Rick Owens are my go-to for spring, they go with everything and they look super good with dresses.

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

I would say the Louis Vuitton trainers with Swarovskis on them, any color. They are super rare and as I said earlier I am obsessed with crystals, they come in different color ways. However, I think my favorite is the brown and pink!

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

I would say nice jewels and colourful bags.
