G-Dragon is a man of many talents, not only in music, but in art and fashion as well. Over the past couple of years, the BIGBANG leader has worked closely with Nike on some of the hottest collabs ever, and now, he's ready to reveal his next project with the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 "Panda." Offering the perfect balance between formal and casual, you won't find another sneaker quite like it.
The sequel to 2021's "White," GD's latest Kwondo 1 is very clearly inspired by the classic brogue shoe. With perforations throughout that nod to the traditional tailored footwear option, it works on top of a predominantly "White" leather base and is overlaid by contrast "Black" panels throughout, hence the "Panda" nickname. A Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls, and underfoot, you'll find a chunky rubber midsole that boasts an extremely smooth finish and will surely add a few millimeters to your height.
Elsewhere, co-branded tongues layer on top of the lacing system, but you can actually remove these if you prefer a less sartorial vibe. You'll also find Jiyong's daisy logo finely embroidered around the heels, and special PEACEMINUSONE-branded lace tips which add to the exclusivity of the collaboration.
If you want the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 "Panda" in your life, you'll be glad to find out that it's dropping on April 11th, which is a lot sooner than we had previously expected. If you take a L the first time around, a much wider launch will come through one week later on April 18th.
