What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

It’s all began in school when I saw one of my classmate wore the Air Max 95 OG Neon. I was fascinated by the pair right away!

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

I loved the comeback of the Air Max 1 with its 30th Anniversary in 2017. The reshape and release of so many great colorways at this time was just awesome.

Please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

It’s always a pleasure. I love to take them out of the box, watch every little detail and relace them the way I like it. It’s like a ritual to me.

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

At the moment, my most favorite brand is New Balance as they are doing so much the right way. All their kicks are great quality and even GRs are on the level of a collab.

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

I’m from Berlin and so also a fan of Overkill. They did many great collabs but I couldn’t remember a classic Air Max silhouette as one of them. So an Overkill Air Max 1 would be a wish of me.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

I currently wear a lot Air Max 1 like the Patta Waves and am into the New Balance 2002R a lot. But I also rock some classic pairs like the New Balance 998 Tassie Devil or the Air Max 98 Gundam.

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

It’s the Air Max 1 Elephant without a doubt. I still need them so much.

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

I’m a sucker for bomber jackets and own quite a lot of them. They are just a classic look to me and go with almost any pair of kicks.
