Simple yet striking.

When it comes to collaborations, COMME des GARÇONS just doesn't stop. After taking on the Air Pegasus 2005 last week, we're now getting a sneak peek of the upcoming COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Tennis Classic. One of the latest colorways to hit the underrated tennis model, if you've been searching for a high-end sneaker that's simple yet striking at the same time, this might just be what you've been looking for all this time. Dropping as part of the Rei Kawakubo-helmed fashion house's BLACK diffusion line, make sure you read on to find out what we know so far.

Revealed in "Triple Black" and "Triple White" options, CDG's rendition of the Tennis Classic is exactly what you'd expect. Outfitted in premium leather throughout, the Japanese brand hasn't really changed much to the overall aesthetic. With Swoosh branding across the laterals and medials, co-branded detailing is finely printed across both insoles in inverted color schemes. Elsewhere, "Nike" is debossed on the tongue tag, while more logos make their way towards the heel badge.

Shifting your focus down below, the midsole has been slightly textured for that OG look that we all know and love, and tying it all together are a pair of waxed laces which add to the luxurious look and feel, finalizing the opulent design.

Not much else is known about the BLACK COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Tennis Classic at this moment in time, but these are expected to drop later this year. Let us know what you think of this minimalist range, and while you're here, you might as well check out the next sacai x Nike collaboration right here!
