What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

I came to Singapore to study interior design, but the vast exposure to sneakers got me drawn and I bought my first pair of Air Jordan 1 Volt Gold for my 21st birthday. I always had a passion for sneakers but never got the exposure I needed. But once I held those 1s in my hand, it triggered by passion.

What are some of your observations or personal stories when it comes to collecting kicks?

I come from a middle-class family in India where the maximum amount spent on a shoe is $100. Convinced my parents to buy a $300 took me months, but the problem was once I got Air Jordan 1, I wanted Yeezys and I couldn’t ask my parents again.

I learned how to resell sneakers on Oxstreet marketplace and eventually I got my grails from there which were Air Jordan 1 University Blue. 

 What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

Air Jordan 1 Low Reverse Breds, Air Jordan 1 High Volt Gold, and Yeezy 700 V2 Static.

Can you please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

It’s a different level of excitement I feel when I open the box and hold the sneaker in my hand and smell the shoe that I have wanted for months! That's something I can't never describe to others. Wearing them on a perfect occasion is something I always look forward to!

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

Yeezy x Off-White.

What do you think is the most under-rated pair?

Yeezy 700 V3 kyanite is the most underrated pair.

What are some of your favourite creators/designers or brands and why?

Fear Of God, Acme de La Vie, and Represent are my favorite brands. It’s because of the quality and design which makes me want more of their T-shirts!

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard 3.0 and Air Jordan 4 Union La ‘Off Noir’

 What are some of your favorite sneaker related content creators?

Del.ten and TimothyKoh.

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

Loose fit t-shirts are my go to when it comes to daily essentials other than that silver chain and a ring.
