What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

When I was visiting one of the New Balance stores and was just trying out their MADE sneakers, I was amazed by how comfortable they were and how perfectly they fit my outfit. The New Balance 992 and 990V5 were my first two pairs of NB sneakers that got me started on my love for New Balance sneakers.

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

New Balance. I love everything about New Balance. I would be searching for my favorite New Balance sneakers and apparel day and night.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

New Balance 993, 992, 990V6, 990V3, 990V2, 2002R, and 1906R.

Please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

I feel excited and it's really nice to experience the feeling of walking on them.  I love to photograph my sneaker collection during my free time!

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

New Balance 993 x Messi.

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

I admire Shawn Yue. His brand, Madness, is my first oversized apparel brand.

Madness has collaborated with many big streetwear fashion brands such as Descendant, WTAPS, Neighborhood, Bape, Phantaci, and many more.

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker you have not acquired so far?

JJJJound x 990v3 Made in USA 'Montréal.'

What are some of your daily essentials or treasured items besides kicks?

Oversized apparel.
