The first moment was definitely after seeing a pair of Converse Chuck 70 when I was a kid. Simple but clean. And the pair that got me into the sneaker world of no return was the Adidas Ultraboost era thanks to my friend that pushed me to try and buy one at a outlet in 2015.
I prefer comfort more than looks most of the time. So what resonates with me the most is when the sneakers are comfy and that's gotta be the Adidas Yeezy 350 v2. Everyone was queuing up to a day and sleeping at malls to get a pair for retail including me.
Definitely feels fresh. There's a very exciting feeling every time you unds a new pair of kicks and it never gets old. And every shoe has it own vibes and if it resonates, I'll keep em in the rotation. If not, I'll just sell em off and wait for another good pair to come by.
BAPE. Undefeated. Human Made. Yohji Yamamoto Y-3. I don't know why but I really like the designs from these designers from Japan. BAPE for its crazy collabs almost every week, Undefeated for its OP name of the brand, Human Made for its crazy but chill designs and material quality, and last but not least Y3 for its black esthetic and interesting take.
BAPE x Nike Air Jordan 1 High in the Green ABC Camo colorway.
Yeezy 350 v2 Bred, AJ1 High Shadow, AJ1 Union Black Toe, Vans x Bape Old Skool, Nike AJ1 Low Travis Mocha, Adidas UB21 Grey.
Plain black tees and black pants. For the past few years, I've been wearing quite a lot of blank tees to experience what are the differences. It is definitely a fun experience.
