I would say that while I was in school, we all simply liked to look at sports shoes, and I guess it kind of grew from there, expanding my interest in sneakers. It all started with sports shoes like Nike, Adidas, and Puma, then I started liking Vans and Converse, and so on. But the Air Jordan White Cement 2016 was the game changer for me and caught my interest in collecting sneakers.
One of the early ones that stand out to me is the Roshe Run era when everyone would go crazy for a pair. It honestly piques my curiosity to delve into the realm of shoe trends, especially since it's so much fun to do so with my friends.
It definitely helps in resonating my aura and making me feel more at ease with my style than before. Somehow, it made me happy because the new kicks on my feet complete my look.
I didn't look through many designers and creators, but Virgil Abloh stands out as one who has made an impression on me. I mean, his creations stand apart from those of other designers, and I enjoy seeing that.
Nike collaborating with Tyler, The Creator would be amazing in my opinion. I've always admired Tyler's masterpieces and collaborations with other brands, like Converse. Such a unique perspective and appearance and it would be fantastic if Nike considered it.
A popular pair right now has to be the Travis Air Max 1 in Baroque Brown, which I purchased. Definitely, a clear color scheme that matches most of the colors in my clothing. Not to mention the Joe Fresh Good and New Balance P550 collaboration's cleanest silhouette. Goodness, what a fantastic pairs!
My ultimate holy grail sneaker is the Off White Jordan 4s, amazing.
I would say my fingerboard because it's been one of my favourite hobbies since my childhood. This tiny thing might look silly but it's more than that.
