Mizuno is a sneaker brand that you definitely can't afford to overlook at the moment. After checking out the ultra stealthy Wave Prophecy LS "Triple Black" at the end of last month, the Japanese label has now taken the wraps off an all-new silhouette, named the Wave Rider Beta. Introduced in two clean colorways, including "Snow White" and "Insignia Blue," here's everything that we know so far.
Giving New Balance a run for its money, the Beta nods to previous Wave Rider models, but it has been completely redesigned from the ground up. Boasting a buttery suede and leather construction, a contrasting mudguard wraps around the outside of the upper, while the legendary RunBird motif shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls for that signature Mizuno aesthetic. All of this sits atop a softly-sculpted foam midsole, and it's finished with a grippy black outsole underfoot, finalizing the design.
The Mizuno Wave Rider Beta is set to make its grand debut on March 24th. Hands down one of our favourite Mizuno drops of the year so far, you definitely don't want to miss out on this. While you're here, you might as well check out these major sneaker brands you probably didn't know were from Asia!
