Muhammad Firdaus - Malaysian Sneakerhead Interview

Could you share a bit about your secret origin story? (Tell us a bit about yourself, how did you start loving sneakers, what you do/hobbies etc.)

The name given was Muhammad Firdaus but just address me as Aus. I was born on 7th December, 1996.

I do Engineering for a living and music for solos and groups, Forceparkbois. I don't remember much of my childhood, but one thing that I'm sure of is my love for music, art, culture, skate, and sneakers.

What's your current favorite pair of sneakers?

My favorite sneakers of all time would be Air Jordan 1 Low SB Eric Koston.

What drew you to this particular pair of sneakers?

Skating. My passion and love for skating led me to like skateboarding shoes more.

What’s your personal sneaker collecting philosophy?

My philosophy as a sneaker collector is that there's a special value for every piece of shoes that I cop. Each one of them reminds me of how I got the shoes. Not just the price, but the effort to get em.

Your dream hype sneaker you wish to acquire but don't have so far.

This one definitely gonna be Nike SB X Frame Skate Dunk Low Pro "Habibi".

What's your day-to-day style like?

I prefer black. Black is the easiest color to match up with everything. When I said everything, I meant EVERYTHING!
