Ever since I was young, I watched my dad collect basketball creps, and I wanted to be just like him as I grew up! My passion for streetwear and sneakers stemmed from purchasing my first pair of OG Adidas Superstars. After buying such an iconic pair of everyday sneakers, I knew from then on I was hooked on sneakers and streetwear.
When I first watched Forrest Gump, I remembered how popular Nike Cortez got, and it was for a good reason! Those creps are iconic and didn't only gain popularity from the film but also showcased, through Forrest constant running, the true purpose of a pair of Cortez as one of Nike's most iconic track shoes.
Having a pair of new kicks feels like a full character reset. It's like becoming a whole new person! Nothing can top the feeling of wearing fresh creps.
My favorite brands at the moment are Diesel, Peche, Coperni, and Fear of God Essentials. Each of these brands offers something completely different and unique; they are stand-alone compared to others we see out there.
Dream collaboration would have been something like Diesel x Off-White x Amine. I couldn't really tell you why; I just feel like Amine would dominate a sneaker collab with these major brands!
No one can't go wrong with simple colorways of simple kicks. Currently, my rotation includes Jordan 1 W Retro High 'Twist,' simple Air Force 1s, Converse Highs for the beater sneakers, and Stan Smiths for the casual days.
My ultimate holy grail sneaker would be Balenciaga triple S. While they seem a bit basic, their colorways are so wearable! I just can't justify the price for them.
My daily essentials are Sony WH-CH710N, Davidoff Cool Water (for women) perfume, and a pair of gold hoops!
