Hype surrounding the New Balance XC-72 is set to skyrocket very soon. First revealed at the end of last year, the Charlotte Lee-designed silhouette has been pretty quiet as of late, but that's only because it's preparing for some pretty major collaborations over the next few months including two brand new AURALEE x New Balance XC-72 colorways that we've never seen before.
Ryota Iwai's third and fourth take on the retrofuturistic silhouette, unlike his "Blue" and "Brown" pairs that launched earlier this year, the "White" and "Camel" are infinitely cleaner. Crafted from a premium combination of hairy suede, nubuck, and leather, both sneakers sit on top of racing car-inspired midsoles that are as unique as they come. An oversized "N" logo is stitched across the lateral and medial sidewalls while additional branding is finely embroidered across the tongue and heel.
Expected to drop on December 9th, the second AURALEE x New Balance XC-72 collection will be a must-cop especially over the sunnier seasons ahead.
