I have always been blessed to have access to shoes since I was young. But my passion for sneakers actually started when I was 14 - seeing my basketball coach wear a pair of Nike Dunk High Olympic. It all went bonkers from there.
The moments that resonated with me the most are the storytelling behind the Nike Dunk SBs back in the day and, recently, Virgil's (RIP) new narratives with his design.
The excitement of getting a pair of new sneakers has been the same since I was 14, except now, on a daily basis. It was the same routine - smell, stare, and smile.
I love Virgil, Chitose Abe, and Jerry Lorenzo. These three have very different styles, but all have one thing in common - quality and distinction from others.
It was the Nike working with Ye again, the forbidden fruit.
Some pairs in my rotation are the XT-6, Jordan 1 Low Solefly, FOG Californias, Dunk Low SB Mummy, and Viotech Dunk SP.
I have too many to single out one.
Of course, I treasure my Apple watch, LV pocket organizer, Moncler x GM shades, and a cap.
