Two years ago, Invincible and N. HOOLYWOOD kicked off the 2002R hype with a rare three-way collaboration that showed off everything the retro silhouette had to offer. Now, as we head towards the end of 2022, the power duo have returned with another Invincible x N. HOOLYWOOD x New Balance 2002R, and this time around, it's fitted with Gore-Tex for all your waterproofing needs.
Rather than opting for the classic all-gray colorway, the brand's have unleashed an all-blue pair that's done up in some of the most premium materials any 2002R has ever seen. Working on top of a breathable mesh base, soft nubuck and fuzzy suede panels wrap around the shoe. Gore-Tex technology means that these will keep dry during the wet and windy months, and it's proudly showcased on the front toe and a small black tab around the collar.
Co-branded details adorn the insole, and underfoot, you'll find a highly-sculpted midsole that's made from N-ERGY foam. This has been given a slightly pre-aged aesthetic for that vintage vibe that we all know and love.
Arriving in a special shoebox, the Invincible x N. HOOLYWOOD x New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex is set to release before the end of 2022. We recommend going half a size up for these as, in general, Gore-Tex sneakers tend to run a little smaller than usual.
