If you're a fan of Japanese streetwear, then this upcoming collaboration is going to completely blow your mind. For some reason, Evisu and ASICS have never teamed up for a sneaker collection. In fact, we had to double check that before writing that sentence because a partnership like that seems like a total match made in heaven. Giving us serious '90s nostalgia when we were all lusting over Evisu jeans, the Hidehiko Yamane-helmed label has finally injected their signature aesthetic into the Evisu x ASICS GEL-LYTE 3 Collection - and we're here to take our first look yet.
Arriving in a trio of unique colorways, all three pairs feature a premium canvas, leather, suede, and denim construction that falls in line with the Osaka-based clothing companies world-renowned look and feel. Evisu's mountain logo features around the back, while ASICS' iconic tiger stripes shoot through the lateral and medial side panels.
Rumored to be quite limited, each one comes boxed up in special edition packaging with co-branded detailing throughout. In fact, there are only 300 "Navy" pairs in the world, so it's going to be a pretty tough cop.

Releasing today in select Asian markets, the Evisu x ASICS GEL-LYTE 3 Collection is low-key one of our favorite collaborations of the entire year.
