The ZX 8000 is finally getting Gucci-fied.

Whether you love it or hate it, there's no denying that Gucci's adidas collaboration was made to turn heads. Following its introduction last year, the power duo are officially back for the Gucci x adidas Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Inspired by festival season, not only does it feature a vast selection of apparel and accessories, the range also welcomes the ZX 8000 for the first time.

Regarded by many as one of the most legendary Three Stripes sneakers in history, the ZX 8000 was introduced in the '80s as a running shoe. Since then, it has become thing of a cultural icon, transcending various subcultures and style tribes along the way. For Gucci's rendition, the Italian fashion house has introduced four unique colorways, including a cream and purple one, green and pink, as well as a palette that's very clearly inspired by the OG "Aqua" color scheme.

Working on top of a silky base, it's branded with the luxury label's signature "GG" monogram throughout. Supple suede overlays wrap around the rest of the upper, and you'll also find a healthy dose of premium leather too for an extra luxurious look and feel. As well as the ZX, the capsule also includes four Gazelles as well as a trio of slides which are perfect for those hot summer days.

Set to drop very soon, the Gucci x adidas SS23 Collection should not be missed. Let us know which colorway you're feeling the most, and in related news, the Hello Kitty and Friends x adidas Stan Smith is so kawaii!
