After teaming up with Nike earlier this year to bring back the Hello Kitty Air Presto, the legendary Sanrio character is back in the sneaker game with the Hello Kitty x adidas Superstar. One of the cutest collaborations that we've ever seen here at Ox Street, if you, like all of us, need a pair in your collection, make sure you read on to find out more!
Made in collaboration with fashion's favorite feline, Hello Kitty's take on the Superstar is packed with super kawaii details. First of all, the special edition shoebox is decorated with a full-size illustration of Hello Kitty rocking a bright red adidas tracksuit. As soon as you open the packaging, you're presented with a pair of all-leather sneakers with mismatched red and pink laces that come complete with decorative beading. The curious cat's head pokes out around the heel, and a playful polka dot motif decorates the heel badge and rubber outsoles.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Superstar without the classic serrated Three Stripes along the lateral and medial panels, and the legendary shelltoe that has been on the silhouette since... forever.
