Performance art made to wear well.

Joe Freshgoods is certainly no stranger when it comes to New Balance collaborations. Over the past nine months, the Chicago-based creative has worked on multiple NB silhouettes, including the 550, 574, 2002R, and more recently, the 9060 for the coveted "Inside Voices" collection. With all that said, we're now getting our best look yet at the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993, and it might just be his best one yet.

Unveiled in three pastel colorways, including pink, green, and blue flavors, Joe Freshgoods' take on the iconic 993 features a pigskin suede and mesh construction that's made in the USA. Soft coral accents make their way to the laces and ABZORB DTS midsoles, which offer an insane amount of comfort with every step. You'll also find embroidered branding along the tongue and heel as well.

Arriving in special edition shoe boxes, each NB993 is accompanied by a hang tag that reads "performance art made to wear well." This is then finished off with an illustration of the silhouette's side profile, finalizing the collaboration.

Not much else is known about the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 collection at this moment in time, but our sources tell us that they'll release within the coming weeks. Let us know which colorway you're feeling the most, and while you're here, make sure you check out Ox Street's massive New Balance range right here.
