These are out of this world!

Thanks to collaborations from the likes of COMME des GARÇONS and Supreme, hype surrounding the Air Foamposite One has been on the rise. With that said, it's nowhere near what it was back in 2011. When the American sportswear company announced the Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" over a decade ago, it quite literally caused riots across the sneaker game. Thousands and thousands queued up for the shoe, and only a few lucky ones managed to actually secure a pair. If you, like many of us, took a massive L back in the day, lucky for you, the space-inspired colorway is making a comeback.

One of the most iconic non-Air Jordan basketball shoes to come from the Swoosh, the "Galaxy" boasts a full foam upper that's decorated with an otherworldly graphic. Tiny Nike Swooshes are embroidered throughout, just like the OG, and the Air midsole underfoot is finished with a glow-in-the-dark effect that's sure to turn heads even in low light conditions. Two oversized pull tabs feature across the tongue and heel for a rugged look and feel, and just like the 2011 pair, this will come with an exclusive hangtag and shoebox.

Not much else is known about the Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" re-release at this moment in time, but it's expected to arrive sometime in Spring 2024. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your collection next year, and in related news, the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High Footscape has been unveiled!
