If you're a sneakerhead who particularly loves old school silhouettes with a ton of history, then you're going to want to listen up. According to our sources, the Nike Air More Uptempo "OG" is set to return this year. Last released in 2020, the legendary basketball shoe was famously worn by Scottie Pippen in the 1995-1996 season. While it isn't officially his signature sneaker, Pippen was the one who made it as iconic as it is today, sitting amongst greats like the Air Jordan 1.
Re-releasing in the original black and white color scheme, the Air More Uptempo boasts a slick black nubuck construction that's soft and smooth to the touch. Rope pull tabs are stitched across the tongue and heel for a rugged and ready look, and of course, you can't talk about this hardcourt model without mentioning its signature "AIR" branding along the lateral and medial sidewalls. All of this sits on top of a chunky Air midsole that's as comfortable as it gets.
While not much else is known about the Nike Air More Uptempo "OG" comeback just yet, it will be sometime within the next few months. Keep it locked at Ox Street for for your best chance to cop, and grab a Swoosh grail today over at our dedicated Nike page.
