Inspired by the Washington Wizards small forwards' Japanese roots.

After taking on the Air Jordan 8 and the Air Jordan 36, Rui Hachimura now has his sights set on the legendary Air Jordan 1 Low with the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Cranes." Inspired by the Washington Wizards small forwards' Japanese roots, let's take our best look yet.

Crafted from a rugged canvas, the all-black construction is done up with Sakura flowers in red and pink while white cranes take flight across the entire upper. A glossy patent leather Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial sides, and this is accentuated by a metallic gold outline that surrounds the entire Nike logo. Complementary tones feature on the aglets, tongue, and heel, where you'll find the legendary winged basketball covered in a luxe finish.

Underfoot, you'll find a crisp white Air midsole that's as clean as it gets, and this is lined with a light gray rubber outsole, finalizing the design. Unfortunately it looks like the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Cranes" will be exclusive to the Toyama-born player's inner circle, but if these do get a public release, like the aforementioned AJ 36, we'll be sure to let you know.
