From Beijing to the world.

After getting a sneak peek all the way back in September, Beijing's SOULGOODS has officially revealed its hotly-anticipated Nike Dunk High collection. Originally rumored to be just one colorway, the SOULGOODS x Nike Dunk High collaboration actually features three must-have sneakers, coming together to tell a story that spans three decades.

Unlike in the States and in Europe, China's sneaker culture only started growing over the past few years, and this collection pays homage to this. Inspired by the streetwear label's roots in basketball, music, style, and art, the "Grey" draws from classic '80s basketball films, the "Blue" nods to the '90s hip-hop scene, and the "Green" honors all of the collectors and artists from the 2000s who experienced the two decades before it.

Yue Wu's take on the iconic Nike basketball shoe is elevated with 3M detailing, and the brand's signature Soul Tiger features throughout. Around the inside of the heel, the phrase "From Beijing to the world" is finely stitched on, showcasing how big the streetwear game is getting over in China. When you think of Asian capitals that are known for their style, you'd probably have Manila, Seoul, or Tokyo in mind. With that said, you could be adding Beijing to that list very soon.

The SOULGOODS x Nike Dunk High collection is set to release in December. More details are set to come through very soon, but if you want a guaranteed pair in your collection you should definitely check out our dedicated Dunk page right here!
