These chocolatey brown kicks are good enough to eat.

When it comes to New Balance collaborations, thisisneverthat is certainly no stranger to them. Over the past couple of years, the South Korean label has taken on the 860v2, 1906R, and 2002R silhouettes, and now, they're adding a fourth one to the mix with the thisisneverthat x New Balance 550 - and here's everything that we know so far.

Unlike conventional 550s, Cho Nadan, Park Inwook, and Choi Jonkyu version drops the usual all leather construction in favor of a chocolatey brown canvas material. The "N" logo across the lateral and medial sides has been given a cracked finish of an archival aesthetic, and this is complemented by a pair of black woven laces that tie everything together.

Underfoot, the rubber midsole has also been dipped in a stealthy shade, and to round off the coveted collab, "thisisneverthat" is finely embroidered around the heels, while co-branded detailing decorated the tongue tag, replacing the '80s sneaker's usual basketball graphic.

Expected to drop within the coming months, the thisisneverthat x New Balance 550 "Brown" is rumored to release alongside a bunch of other color options too, so make sure you keep it locked right here to find out everything that there is to know. In related news, Junya Watanabe teased a New Balance collaboration at Paris Fashion Week!
