You can't talk about blue sneakers without bringing up the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 "Arctic Blue." Released as part of the Chicago creative's coveted "Performance Art" collection from 2022, it works on top of a breathable mesh base and is wrapped in premium suede throughout. The ABZORB DTS midsole is dipped in a peachy pink hue, while Joe Freshgoods' initials are finely stitched around the heel on top of an American flag graphic, nodding to the fact that this shoe was made in the U.S. of A. If you're not a fan of the original laces, they come with an extra pair straight out of the box.
Sitting proudly amongst some of the greatest AJ 1s in history, the Air Jordan 1 High OG "University Blue" is simple yet striking at the same time. Inspired by Michael Jordan's alma mater - the University of Carolina - this sneaker is crafted from a full leather construction with UNC-esque overlays that wrap around the ankle, heel, lacing system, and toe area. A striking black Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls, and this is complemented by a pair of woven laces that tie everything together. To round it all off, the iconic winged basketball insignia is finely stamped across the collar for that unmistakable Jumpman aesthetic.
Not only is he dominating the music scene, Bad Bunny is also set to take over the sneaker space as well with collaborations such as the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low "Blue Tint." His fourth take on the legendary Three Stripes basketball shoe, is crafted from luxurious suede and nubuck and sits on top of an icy blue midsole that has been engineered for everyday wear. A detachable tongue gives the shoe a chunky look and feel, and you definitely can't talk about this Forum without mentioning the rollercoaster buckle which offers an incredibly rugged aesthetic.
Nobody could have ever predicted that a pair of Crocs would be one of the hottest pairs around, but Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog "Tide" proved everybody wrong. Made in collaboration with the New York City-based fashion icon, Bembury has completely reworked the silhouette from the ground up. Boasting his signature fingerprint-inspired design, oversized perforations make their way towards the toe and back for extra ventilation, and you'll also find a Velcro-fastened strap here as well for the ultimate lockdown fit. Or, if you want to enter sport mode in style.
And last but not least, we have the Nike Dunk Low "University Blue." Originally introduced as part of Nike's Spring 2021 line-up, this was one of the colorways that kicks of the Dunk hype. Painted in a pristine blue and white color scheme, a Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls while additional branding is stitched across the tongue tag and heel badge. All of this sits on top of a crisp white midsole that's as comfortable as it gets.
