Could this be the South Korean designer's best sneaker yet?

After taking on the Air Force 1 and the Air Adjust Force, Yoon Ahn now has her sights set on another classic Nike shoe. Taking to Instagram to make the grand reveal, the AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo is set to be the Tokyo-based brand's next Swoosh collaboration, and from what we've seen so far, it might just be one of its best ones yet.

Hype surrounding the 1996 basketball silhouette has recently reached an all-time high. Falling perfectly in line with the ever-popular chunky sneaker trend and the retro shoe fad, the Air More Uptempo has been well-received particularly with the Gen Z market. The South Korean label's rendition boasts a light beige nubuck construction with a blacked out Air midsole underfoot. This stealthy shade extends towards the Swoosh branding across the toe and heel, where you'll find additional "AMBUSH" branding.

Of course, you can't talk about this collab without mentioning the vibrant yellow "AIR" logos across the lateral and medial sidewalls. Decked out in leather, these have been an Uptempo staple for the past three decades, and they're showcased loudly and proudly here. Rounding it all off are pair of 3M laces that tie everything together, finalizing the design.

Rumored to be releasing as part of a much wider collection, the AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo should not be missed. Make sure you keep it locked at Ox Street for all of the latest details as they develop, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Grim Reaper"!
