It's time to duel!

Following their first collection back in September of last year, Yu-Gi-Oh! and adidas have reunited once again, this time to take on the ADI2000 silhouette. Regarded by many anime and manga enthusiasts as one of the best series of all-time, the Kazuki Takahashi-illustrated franchise has also completely dominated the trading card and video game spaces, and now, it's sure to make a mark in the sneaker scene with a collaboration like no other. Inspired by the tankobon's main protagonist, Yugi Moto, as well as his alter ego, Yami Yugi, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.

Done up in a black and purple color scheme that pays homage to Yugi's signature outfit, gold flecks across the lateral and medial sides nod to his iconic hairstyle. Ancient Egyptian motifs and iconography make their way throughout as a tribute to the franchise's theme, and the fat tongues are embroidered with "Time to Duel" on the right and "King of Games" on the left.

Down below, you'll find an extra chunky midsole that has been specifically engineered for half pipe use, and all of this comes packed within a special edition shoebox that's made for all you Yu-Gi-Oh! fans out there. As if that wasn't special enough, the sneaker comes with a limited edition Exodia hangtag and an exclusive Dark Magician card.

Set to release on January 26th, the Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas ADI2000 "Black" will sell out pretty quickly. Luckily for you, however, it'll be available right here within the coming weeks so keep it locked for your best chance to cop. In related news, the Y-3 Qasa High "Triple Black" is officially making a comeback!
