Yu-Gi-Oh! is, without a doubt, one of the most iconic manga series of all time. Written and illustrated by the late and great Kazuki Takahashi, who sadly passed away this summer, the media franchise began all the way back in 1996 and it has since spawned an anime series, feature films, video games, and of course, the ever-so-popular trading card game that we all partook in, even if we didn't really know what we were doing. Now, images have surfaced online showcasing what could potentially be a Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas sneaker collection - and we're taking our very first look yet.
Working on the all-new ADI2000, these sneakers feature an all-white leather construction and are decorated with the series protagonists, Yugi Mutou and Seto Kaiba, alongside their respective summons of the Dark Magician and Blue Eyes White Dragon. These characters can also be found on the accompanying Reptossage slides as well, which are painted in a stealthy all-black shade.
Each pair is accompanied by a gold keychain that's etched with one of Exodia's limbs. In the manga, if you have all four of these you can awaken the Forbidden One. They also come packed in special edition shoeboxes that are decorated with Egyptian hieroglyphics and co-branded detailing throughout.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas sneaker collection is set to drop very soon, so make sure you keep it locked at Ox Street for everything that you need to know. While you're here, you might as well check out all the adidas sneakers that we have available right now!
