Back in 2003, long before many of you were even born, Nike launched a special edition SB Dunk Low which was made for charity, nicknamed the "eBay". To our knowledge, only three pairs were made. The first one was auctioned off to benefit the Tim Braunch Foundation, the second one was cut into four sections and put on display, while the third was later revealed to have been gifted to the late and great Sandy Bodecker, who was the brainchild behind the Swoosh's skateboarding division.
As we head towards this Dunk's 20th birthday, more and more images have been popping up showcasing what is rumored to be the upcoming eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low. A nod to the original pair from two decades prior, this comes in the exact same color scheme as the OG, but with transparent sections spread equally apart from one another as nod to the second pair that was destroyed.
Underfoot, you'll find a crisp white midsole that's perfect for skating, and just like the special release from '03, this is rounded off with an icy blue rubber outsole that ties everything together.
At this moment in time this just a sample, but when the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low does release in 2023 it'll be pretty close in shape and design. If you want a pair in your collection, make sure you keep it locked at Ox Street as we'll let you know more info as it comes through.
