We've been blessed with quite a few hyped New Balance collaborations over the past few years, but none of them look quite as colorful as the Action Bronson x New Balance 990v6. A shoe that has been on our radar for a few months now, it finally has a confirmed release date, so keep reading to find out everything that we know so far.
Action Bronson is a man of many talents. From rapper to chef to wrestler, the Queens-born multi-hyphenate can now add sneaker collaborator to his ever-growing list of expertise. For his take on the 990v6, it works on top of a bright neon mesh base and is overlaid by brown pigskin suede and 3M-infused leather paneling throughout. A dash of bold orange adorns the heel, while a subtly ribbed texture has been applied on the "N" logo for a look that is sure to turn heads.
As if that wasn't already eye-catching enough, Bronson has dipped the chunky ABZORB midsole in a striking blue hue. Co-branded "BAKLAVA" detailing is then printed across each of the insoles, finalizing the design.
The Action Bronson x New Balance 990v6 is set to touch down on March 17th via Action Bronson's site, and a larger global release is slated to follow on March 24th.
