Modeled after the main protagonist Banagher Links’ iconic RX-0 Unicorn Gundam in Destroy Mode, the colors on the “Project Unicorn White” unit are instantly recognizable. The “Project Unicorn Banshee Norn” colorway takes after its dark-colored brother unit originally piloted by Marida Crus and later assigned to Riddhe Marcenas, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee. The release date for the highly anticipated kicks “Project Unicorn White” has just been announced and it will drop on November 10, 2021.
The “Project Unicorn White” comes in white premium leather uppers, accented by bright red found on the piping, contrast stitches on the soles, and a unicorn logo with the words “RX-0 Dunk High” and “WARNING” printed below it.
The darker “Project Unicorn Banshee Norn” comes with similar design elements and features except for its dark-themed colorway. It comes with premium black leathers and obsidian overlays, paired with metallic orange piping and rose gold eye stays which gives it a more metallic feel than the “Project Unicorn White”
Both colorways come with a sheet of decals that matches the customizing elements included with the popular Gunpla model kits. Two limited edition figures of the QMSV RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode) Ver. NIKE SB and QMSV RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (Destroy Mode) wearing the Nike SB Dunk High will also drop alongside the actual shoes to commemorate the event.
Initially set to release this month, Nike has confirmed on SNKRS that the Gundam x Nike SB Dunk High “Project Unicorn White” will drop via the app on November 10 with a retail price of $110. The “Project Unicorn Banshee Norn” was released October 9 exclusively at selected skate shops.
