Last week, American rapper, singer, and songwriter Aminé took to Instagram to reveal that he was working on his very own New Balance collaboration. Fans were obviously ecstatic over this news, and now there's even more to be excited about as we take our very first look at the Aminé x New Balance 610 "The Mooz." Inspired by bananas, keep reading to find out everything that we know so far.
Working on top of a vibrant yellow mesh base, Aminé's take on the retro silhouette is overlaid by very glossy brown panels which deliver a pop of contrast both in terms of color and texture. Shiny iridescent accents make their way throughout the upper for a look that is sure to turn heads, and around the back, the "610" badge has been filled with water and comes with a bunch of tiny bananas which float around.
To round it all off, the toggle switch lacing system, oversized pull tab, and chunky C-CAP midsole all come together to offer a rugged aesthetic. This is then packed in a special edition shoebox, finalizing the design.
