A Bathing Ape is, no doubt, one of the most iconic streetwear labels in the game. Founded by Nigo back in 1993, the brand is known for its heavy use of graphics, varsity-style typography, and of course, the military-inspired camo pattern that we all know and love. This year marks BAPE's 30th birthday, and to celebrate this massive milestone, they've teamed up with adidas for the BAPE x adidas Forum Low collection - and here's your first look!
Taking on the German sportswear company's ever-popular '80s basketball shoe, the collection features two colourways, both of which are clad in the Harajuku imprint's signature ABC CAMO. Crafted from leather throughout, the green pair is decorated with metallic gold hardware, while the blue one opts for shiny silver. Both sneakers sit on top of creamy rubber midsoles for a somewhat vintage vibe, and the dubrae's are also etched with the number "30" as a nod to BAPE's three decade anniversary.
The Forums come packed in special edition shoeboxes, and will also be accompanied with extra laces and accessories, making it the ideal collab for fans of the Nigo-helmed brand.
Not much else is known about the BAPE x adidas Forum Low at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at Ox Street for all of the latest info. While you're here, you might as well get up close with the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low "Yellow"!
