The year has only just begun and it's already proving to be one of ASICS' most successful ones yet. With countless coveted collaborations currently on the cards, the Japanese sportswear company is now adding yet another one to its release roster with the UNAFFECTED x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 collection. Tapping the South Korean label for the very first time, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
Revealed as part of UNAFFECTED's Fall/Winter 2023 presentation, the range features a trio of tonal colorways, including "Silver," "White," and "Emerald Green," which looks like it'll be the most popular pair. Featuring a classic mesh base, it's overlaid by glossy leather panels that wrap around the entire shoe. ASICS' signature Tiger Stripes shoot through the laterals and medials, while co-branded detailing is printed across the tongue and insoles.
Of course, you can't talk about this GEL-Kayano 14 collab without mentioning the toggle switch lacing system which offers an extremely rugged look and feel. All three pairs then sit on top of geometric midsoles which have been infused with GEL technology for comfort and cushioning that's unlike anything else out there.
Not much else is known about the UNAFFECTED x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 at this moment in time, but it's expected to drop later this year.
