What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

It started when I saw my primary school teacher wearing a pair of Air Max 1s.

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

Vintage - I've always been big into vintage clothes, so naturally, vintage sneakers came into my life. I can flex anything old, older versions of current sneakers because vintage is subtle!

Please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

I assume that's what it feels like to be God, especially when you get the pair early.

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

I love the New Balance for its quality; it is unmatched. Another is Kapital, non-sneaker related, for their attention to detail, quality, and uniqueness.

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

I would love to see collaboration between Up There X Nike.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

Here are the sneakers in my current rotation: Air Max 1 Patta Monarch and Aqua Noise, New Balance 992 Cloud and Grey, NB 2002 Protection Pack Sea Salt and Phantom, Up There X Saucony Shadow 6000s, and Salomon XT-6 Kangaroo.

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

I have been craving to wear a pair of Air Max 1 Patta Chlorophyll.

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

I treasure my Kapital Virgin Mary Damask Fleece, Engineered Garments UL-3Wag Bag, and Up There x Nalgene tumbler to stay hydrated.
