What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

In high school, after seeing the Air Force 1 MTV by rapper Nelly in 2002, my classmates and I started wearing different Air Force 1 colors to school against school restrictions!

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

Sneakers have the ability to make individuals identify with certain eras throughout history. Collaboration between brands and artists raises the value of these sneakers among collectors.

However, sneaker culture comes with a harsh side. Because of the culture's quick rise in popularity, bots, backdoors, and campouts have become a normal aspect of getting a sneaker.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

Air Jordan 1, Air Force 1, Air Max 1, New Balance 990, and Vans.

Please describe how it feels when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

I'm grinning from ear to ear!

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

I'd like to see a collaboration between Air Jordan 1 and Goyard.

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

WTAP! Tetsu's functional design was mirrored in his selection of military-inspired, high-quality apparel.

What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not acquired so far?

Air Jordan 1 OG 1985 'Chicago'

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

Caps and bags.
