Even though the weather is cooling down, you can expect nothing but heat in your collection this season.

As we head towards the end of the year, you'd expect everything to just sit back and slow down a bit - but that's just not how the sneaker game works. As every week goes by, sneakerheads get blessed with more and more hype, so even though the weather is cooling down, you can expect nothing but heat in your collection this season. If you see any other pairs that you think should have been on this list, let us know over on Instagram and don't forget to follow us as well for the best content that the Asian sneaker community has to offer!

Air Jordan 1 High OG "Heirloom"

Even though the AJ 1 is almost four decades old, its design has pretty much remained unchanged since. This season, Nike is celebrating His Airness' vast legacy with the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Heirloom." Working on top of a subtly ribbed canvas construction, rich "Vachetta Tan" leather panels make their way throughout the sneaker for a beautifully colorblocked aesthetic. The iconic Jumpman features on the tongue, while the legendary winged basketball insignia is finely stamped onto the collar. Down below, the Air midsole is been dipped in a light cream hue for a vintage vibe, and this is finished off with a complementary rubber outsole underneath, finalizing the simple yet striking design.

COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Max 97 "Black"

Rei Kawakubo's sneaker collaborations have always been tasteful and timeless. Never been one to go bold and brash, the Japanese fashion icon takes a silhouette and gently applies her signature CDG sensibilities to it. This has always been the way, and it has already worked. Take the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Max 97 "Black," for example. Bearing a striking resemblance to the OG "Triple Black" release, the Homme PLUS division has added distressed materials across the board for a pre-aged look that we can definitely appreciate. This all comes packed within COMME des GARÇONS x Nike's world-renowned all-black shoe box.

Nike Dunk Low Chenille Swoosh "Purple"

While the Nike Dunk Low Chenille Swoosh "Purple" definitely isn't as hyped as the other sneakers on this list, you can't really talk about this week's hottest pairs without mentioning it. From a distance it may look like another classic Dunk Low colorway, but upon closer inspection you'll find that the Oregon footwear giant has added a fuzzy chenille Swoosh along the side panels, outlined by a bold green hue that will no doubt turn heads. Underfoot, you'll find an off-white midsole that makes it look like these have been plucked straight from the archives.

Salehe Bembury x Crocs x Pollex Clog "Tide"

Salehe Bembury has completely turned the sneaker game on its head this year, because all of a sudden, everyone under the sun wants a pair of Crocs. There's really no questioning it though, as pairs like the Salehe Bembury x Crocs x Pollex Clog "Tide" are unlike anything else currently on the market. Taking the Classic Clog and reworking it from heel to toe, the foam upper has been fully redesigned to fall in line with Bembury's signature fingerprint aesthetic. Even the strap around the heel has been revamped for a better lockdown fit. If you still don't have a pair in your daily rotation, now is the chance.

Air Jordan 1 High OG "Starfish"

Air Jordan 1 High OG "Starfish"

And last but not least, we have the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Starfish." First teased earlier this year, the hotly-anticipated Jordan 1 is finally on our doorstep and it looks even better in person. Paying homage to "Shattered Backboard" colorways of the past, this pair is outfitted in an all-leather construction with "Starfish" orange panels clashing and contrasting against the "White" base. A creamy Nike Air midsole sits down below for a dash of vintage flair, while earthy brown accents embrace the ankle and collar. A women's exclusive, this is the perfect way to end September 2022.
