Since I was young, my dad has given us sneakers from his trips abroad as his collection is really a fire too. He had a pair of Nike ACG Air Skarns that were iconic in my youth. I think that subconsciously has drawn me in fashion ever since.
I used to watch Michael Jordan's games when I was younger. I was exposed to basketball culture because of my dad and his work. I couldn't forget the moment how Air Jordans were truly iconic in the basketball era and street culture in the 90s - which I believe started the sneaker culture these days.
I feel powerful because buying a pair of sneakers has been my way of rewarding myself lately. I consider them a reflection of my hard work and the stress that comes with it. LOL.
I have a ton of favorite creators from different backgrounds and eras in fashion industry, which honestly is hard for me to answer. But some people who really inspire me are: Martine Ali, Yoon Ambush, and Miyako Bellizzi. They are empowering figures in fashion, and they inspire me to always giving my best.
A Nike x Flo Trinidad collab might be fire. LOL.
Right now, my favorites in the rotation are the Nike x Ambush Air Adjust Forces and the Nike x Stussy Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2s. And a special shoutout goes to my Nike P-6000s, which I wear almost every day.
That would be OG Cotton Candy Bapesta.
Accessories are a huge part of my style. So jewelry, for sure. And also a cool pair of shades.
