I definitely fell in love with the Jordan 1 Retro High Twist or as people love to call it the "Pandas." I've always liked monochromatic colors, from the stuff I own to the way I dress. So having this classic pair was a need for me and from there, I started my love for sneakers and collecting them.
When Netflix released Michael Jordan's documentary, "The Last Dance." I've always liked the Jordan 1 Chicagos (the 1994 pair is my personal fave) and watching Jordan's story of that pair made me even more drawn to it.
As a filmmaker and storyteller, I feel connected to pairs that have a history with it. From that point on, I always had my eyes set on having that pair someday.
Definitely a plus on my confidence. It's not about flexing, but an expression of my love for sneakers which is pretty cool.
Virgil Abloh will always be an inspiration for me, rest in peace. He seems like a master of all trades, being exceptional and remarkable in what he does while being humble and constantly working despite his success. Along with that is his brand, Off-White. It shouts luxury and class but by being simple and not over grandeur.
This is a long shot, but a Yeezy 350 + Travis Scott collab. That hella comfy feeling of the Yeezys with Travis' mark into it.
This might be basic, but my current rotation are Nike Dunks BNW "Pandas", Yeezy 350 "Bone", Nike Waffles, and the Jordan 1 "Mocha".
I've always set my eyes on the Jordan 1 Chicago (1994) and Jordan 1 Off White NRG!
My daily essentials are definitely a FOG essentials shirt, Carhartt cargo pants, and any of my sneaker that goes along with my fit.
